I envisioned the portal chasing after the character, trying to suck him in.
I Used a countdown effect to create a sense of urgency. I wanted to achieve the effect of spatial fluctuation by shaking the portal film shell, which I think is the most interesting part of this VFX. I need to UV the hexagonal model in a proper way, otherwise the wavy shape of the shell will be very weird.
